Why does kleenex have glitter

I concur. I used to be a faithful "Kleenex" brand supporter, but I switched tissue brand because of the miniature "glitter-like" particles floating in the air when you dispense a tissue. It made me wonder if I was inhaling these when I grabbed a tissue to catch a sneeze Location: The 1 sunshine state, Arizona. It's fairy dust, Kleenex made me gay!

Viva paper towels are soft, and rather expensive, but great to use if you have a cold or allergies. I'd say if it's lotion Kleenex, then that's it.

Denverdave , Nov 5, Perhaps the Kleenex factory where those are made is infested with eight-year-old girls? Having had one of those, we went through years where glitter turned up everywhere.

My favourite tissue is Alokozay. It's from Dubai. We get it at a discount store around here. I like it because it produces almost zero dust and doesn't have any lotion or other crap, but is still soft.

Yes, as far as I know only the lotion Kleenex have sparkes. I was just standing at my window where a morning sunbeam shines through. As I held up my tissue and it passed through the sunlight, I stopped and stared because I saw a deep field of glitter and sparkle within the tissue.

My first thought is fiberglass… Never ever seen that before and I googled for an answer. You came up. Hmm… my tissues are sparkly too… the soft eucalyptus kleenex ones in australia. Apparently they are micro-encapsulated or something… to release the eucalypus scent as they are crushed, but it just seems so wrong!!

I noticed glittery sparkles on my sons nose after wiping!! I was directed to your site too when I noticed the sparkles in my Kleenex. Once I turned on the light in the room, they just glistened. I made my sister go downstairs and grab the Puffs box in the kitchen.
