I totally bumped into something and damaged my ship. I try to look for a repair option while docked at a station but cannot find it. I read in another topic that it's there but I can't see it. Can someone explain exactly how to repair while docked? I read about ejecting and repairing and will try that too.
And is there a way to slow down time in real life so I can play this more? Kind of like increasing time in the game by pressing 'J', but the opposite! Apr 12, There is another way Put a seta in your spacesuit. Just remember You only have about 2 hours of air in your suit.
You may need multiple seta action with larger hulls I'd like to shoot you in the butt with a EBC gun, hide in the asteroids and laugh at what I done, put a blood blister upon each bun, I'd like to shoot you in the butt with a EBC gun. Some people are like slinkies, not worth a whole lot, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
Apr 12, There is an alternative that is somewhat of an exploit. You can eject into your space suit and tell your ship to eject its SETA. Is there a way around that, or something special to do to make that work? Showing 1 - 11 of 11 comments. You should be able to repair your ship at a ship yard. I think you buy it like any commodity. But it's cheaper to eject while in space and shoot it with your repair laser. It's pretty fast on M5s through M3s.
Set View Profile View Posts. Eject into space and press the fire button ctrl or right mouse button. Your space suit has a repair laser. Be careful your space suit doesn't run out of air or you will die. Last edited by Set ; 10 Apr, pm.
I don't even bother salvaging bailed fighters anymore. I just blow them up in hope there's rare engine components in the loot. I know it sounds a bit contradictory: "Don't let capships fully repair themselves, but don't make us repair ships one by one.
Considering the per unit value of both instances, I'd much rather have fighters that we just have to dock on a carrier so they get repaired, and capships that would require a bit more interaction if we're to leave with the prize. Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the first opening they develop is the anus.
This means that at one point you were nothing but an asshole. Some people never develop beyond this stage. Oct 17, DaMuncha wrote: I world prefer to have a ship and crew come and repair my ship rather than my ship magically repairing its self.
Oct 17, Good idea Oct 17, We should be able to have some limited self-repair in space, but it should require some form of consumable resources, IMO. Maybe a special ware called a "repair kit", which would be consumed during repairs proportional to the amount of damage and size of the ship. EDIT: woops, forgot I had already commented earlier in this thread! Last edited by Falcrack on Fri, 6. Oct 17, , edited 1 time in total. It was no different in X3 games as well Also carriers should have ability to fix small fighters but not for free.
It's not world hunger because we can't feed poor,it's because there will never be enough to feed the rich Oct 17, Repair drones should work, but they would use up your drones. Repair ships and docks auto repairing is good.
