I will fix both and see what happens??? Good grief, I like this car, it had 78, miles on it. I am up to 81, in 3 months. The woman who I bought it from at a gas station was 83 yrs old, but 4, miles a year on it. I have put 1, a month on it. I drive it a lot and I feel like I actually live in this car. People keep wanting to hit the car with car doors at malls. It is a big car. I get upset about this. I have only had this car 3 months and 2 people have slightly hit this car with their bumpers The car seems like it needs gas every 3 days.
It says 22 miles per gallon and 30 miles on miles on highway, maybe because it is cold out the gas is not very good. It is really heavy. When I first got it it would hit me in the head. I am surprised I have a head left? I went to Home Depot and got a board that I use to keep from falling. It could be suspension rods are not working, but I don't know? I want to set the record straight. My car has had very few problems. I find that if you keep up regular maintenance on your car it will be fine. I have miles on it and just now I had my first check engine light. It was for my brake switch light which cost Now it works great. I've had a 4-cyl Stratus and a 6-cyl Stratus. The 6-cyl definitely has more power, but about mpg less than the 4-cyl.
The car has plenty of power and gets excellent fuel milage. The Dodge Stratus is available as a sedan and a coupe. The Stratus coupe is fun to drive as well. I had the head gasket problem, two timing belts one transmission, and an exhaust manifold. Other wise just brakes and oil changes. Still on first engine. My 99 has on it. Other than that it's pretty much been minor repairs like sensors, thermostat, stuff like that.

The car runs like a champ!!! Excellent buy! If your not a ocd car person get your wallet out. Its down hill quick once something goes wrong. Its like everything relys on everything. Condition is everything. If its been beat it falls apart litteraly! Putting it together now. Not cheap. This car has caused me nothing but problems!! The wheel barring for this car are smaller then usual and have to be replaced every year! Struts are gone.
Already replaced timing belt long time ago! Exhaust and under carriage rotted and replaced a lot!!! Dont Ever buy! I plan to bring mine to a demo derby next fall! This car has been awesome.
