If you think about the most iconic romantic comedy stars — Julia Roberts , Sandra Bullock , Audrey Hepburn , and even Emma Stone at this point — they have a certain vulnerability on the screen. Audiences don't know if they are acting or just being themselves. Their movements and facial expressions come across as unpredictable and genuine. ScarJo lacks this quality, which is why she thrives in such films as Lucy and Under the Skin , in which she played very measured, structured female characters.
I mean, seriously. In the film, Scarlett Johansson plays a character who strings along Kevin Connolly 's character all while having an affair with Bradley Cooper 'a married character. In Vicky Christina Barcelona , ScarJo once again plays the other woman, but in a much more complicated relationship. Her sexuality is often a major point of her characters and, while men may love that, it can be off-putting for a female viewer. Like, always. Listen, I get that ScarJo oozes sexuality from literally every single pore of her body.
That being said, subverting your sexuality can sometimes be fun. I mean, Charlize Theron took on a very un-sexy role in Monster and it won her an Oscar.
We all get it. Literally every single part of ScarJo is hot. Her toes are probably hot. Hell, her earwax is probably the sexiest earwax that has ever existed. But, can we all just relax about her voice already? It's a reminder of Lauren BaCall's smoky voice. Her voice is so beloved that there was even talk of her getting an Oscar nomination for her voice-only role in Her , in which she played an operating system, y'know like Alexa. There are so many good looking stars. In fact, almost every major Hollywood star is attractive to some degree.
Sure, Scarlett Johansson is attractive to the highest degree, but that attractiveness alone will not win over a female audience. What the female audience wants is someone to whom they can connect and relate. They want Jennifer Lawrence falling down the stairs at the Oscars, which, by the way, must have been strategically planned, right? Females want someone like Chrissy Teigen, who posts photos of her stretch marks on social media. Females want someone like Jennifer Aniston , who gives interviews that make every one feel like they are her best friend.
Scarlett Johansson is not this person. She never really lets people know about private life or personality. There's never a viral interview, in which ScarJo knocks it out of the park. However, social media accounts can count for a lot when it comes to fans, especially if you're not the type to really let people in during interviews.
In this regard, being on social media could help Scarlett Johansson connect to fans. She is the exact celebrity who would benefit from using social media. Posting a photo of her bed head or messy home or whatever else would make Scarlett Johansson much more relatable, which is really what women are looking for. That is why Kim K has a legion of female fans, despite her overt sexuality.
If ScarJo did the same, women may warm up to the actress who oozes sexuality. Because she doesn't do social media, audiences only see the polished side of ScarJo, be it on the red carpet or in interviews. I would agree with that to some extent, but celebrities should also be aware of being overexposed. Being overexposed refers to being in the media WAY too much.
This is normal, because they are promoting their film. But, there are celebrities who are always, always, always in the media, regardless of a film coming out or not. There are celebrities that are always talked about. She understands that even the rasp of her voice can tear some men asunder. However she also knows that women are more than just their bodies. Since you didn't you clearly just didn't like what I had to say. Its like ohh I question someones beauty , I must be a jealous hater. If I had agreed with you would you dismiss what I said, because I was anonymous? No you wouldn't. It is obvious you are a jealous hater. I don't think she's hot and wanted real peoples opinions.
I wasn't the one being disrespectful until you started acting all high and mighty. Lots of people post anonymously here. As I said if you don't like, it block those answers. There is no reason to act condescending to people that wish to use that feature. You were the one that started being rude.
Not all women are like that but I've seen a few girls on here constantly take jabs at a female celebrity out of jealousy like the question asker. I do not get the appeal and neither do most women I talk to. Yes, she is attractive but I think its just kind of a generic beauty and out of all the hollywood beauties I'd give her a 7.
She can't act worth beans either. So could you shed some light on this please? This isn't meant to be disrespectful so please don't take it personally if you're a huge fan. Share Facebook. Guys: Why is Scarlett Johansson considered so hot? Add Opinion. Dumbassgenius Xper 2. She is definitely hot in the sense that her body has a curvature that makes it fertile looking, characterized by larger-than-average breasts, narrow waist, and large hips. Her body fat distribution is feminine and that triggers the sense of sexual arousal in our primitive male brains.
I find her body to be arousing in this sense. Her face however, I do not find to be conventionally attractive in terms of typical feminine beauty. Her nose is too wide and bulbous at the bottom, too thin at the top and is slightly upturned making her look like a pig visible nostrils. I also find her skin to be too pale, has reddish undertones, and has moles on her face that take away from her complexion. I could list out other parts of her face that are not ideal, but I would be over-analyzing and that would be unnecessary because she is already an attractive woman with blonde hair and colored eyes.
Is this still revelant? Thanks for the scientific data. MrOracle 1. While her face may not be considered a "classic beauty", she has big eyes, big, sultry lips, a husky voice, big, firm natural breasts, a slim waist, and a nice ass, with an overall hourglass shape. What's so difficult to understand? The other thing she has going for her is that she is NOT the typical emaciated, skeletal Hollywood actress.
She's not in any way fat or overweight, but she does have CURVES and looks just a bit soft and round, which most men prefer. Most women in Hollywood are either naturally very slender a few, like Olivia Wilde , or, more commonly, have dieted and exercised their way 20 pounds lower than a healthy weight say, Jennifer Aniston, or any actress on a David E Kelly show.
Most men do NOT find that as attractive as women and gay men seem to. As for her acting, I'm not a huge fan, but the movie "The Island" is a very good movie! Yes she is hot and charismatic, and naturally more beautiful than your average girl! The End. MaskofInsanity Guru. I had a dream about her last night Her face is stunning, her body is perfect, she has a sexy voice and in interviews she seems like a really interesting person.
She just exudes femininity and sensuality. Aww k. Might give it a look :.
