The devilsaur takes its name from its vicious, relentless attacks, during which it utterly savages its victims to death. The devilsaur uses its bite to assault its prey, and its powerful hind legs and sheer size allow it to chase down almost any chosen prey.
Despite the ferocity of this ill-tempered beast, hunters prize its extraordinarily tough but supple hide and often seek it out. Devilsaurs can grow to heights exceeding thirty feet and can weigh almost sixteen tons.
Females tend to be smaller and lighter than males, but are even more aggressive. The devilsaur uses its intimidating speed to charge prey as soon as they are within range. It typically targets the smallest creatures in a pack first, closing its powerful jaws over them and lifting them off the ground. The devilsaur mauls its prey, biting and shaking until it or the enemy stops moving, swallows, and then moves on to the next target. Badly wounded devilsaurs have been known to flee, sometimes carrying opponents with them.
Lar'korwi as a devilsaur in the TCG. A fossilized devilsaur in Hearthstone. Grievous Bite. That does include the DTK boss but only on reg. However u don't really get to show him off as he uses the red model shared with Tyrant Devilsaur and King Mosh making it the most used t rex skin. White and green devilsaurs especially green are the only real colors u can have ur "show-off march thru Dal" with.
Comment by Khadhar Also, Devilsaurs no longer make big stompy noises when they move. My eardrums thank you, Blizzard.
Comment by Skorchglen Devilsaur doesn't want to be fed, Devilsaur wants to hunt! Comment by Hey, just to let you know, I am currently a BM hunter at level 69 now, and I dont know about you guys, but my cunning pets do way more dps than ferocity pets now due to the Wolverine Bite cunning pets can now get.
I tested out a couple of cunning pets, and the ones that seem to the most damage is the Nether Ray, and its strange because its CD on its ability is 28 seconds. Strangely enough my Sporebat is one of my highest DPS pets, then followed by the Chimaera and then my raptor which is my backup pet if the boss does alot of damage to pets.
So I guess since the change on Wolverine Bite, I see cunning pets the 1 on dps again, but ferocity not much behind. Comment by Ninja's in dinosaur skin Comment by dudes, i'll never sucsess taming the damn dino! Unlike our MS, this one can't be dispelled. PLUS, it's the coolest looking pet in the game. Comment by littleminx: nothing happened to white devilsaurs For those that like a good challenge King Dred is now tameable on heroic mode. Comment by If you want the white one like i did Tamed all colors at lvl Comment by Ubida Ya know, I'm rather disappointed.
I finally made level 69, and started reading all these comments about how the devilsaur is so huge and everything. And then I finally find the one I want, tame him, and he's only slightly bigger than a raptor. What a letdown. Comment by gane At level in Un'goro, These guys are jerks.
Y U always make me dead? Then use starfire, then hibernate again. Also make sure you are out of range when other mobs are near, if another mob comes after you Comment by Allakhazam soloed asa 55 lvl or lock.
Easy but gave me nothing. Comment by Allakhazam I can solo these with my lvl 53 druid easy! I'm res speced.. Then just hit it until I have like 1k hp left, use demoralizing roar but watch out so you dont agro other mobs..
Edited, Wed Nov 9 Comment by Allakhazam all kinds of devilsaur lvl are soloable for my lvl 60 mage got crap gear even just kite them and they are easy. Comment by Allakhazam nope there is no quests 4 killin the big dude.
Comment by Allakhazam big girl she is O. Comment by Allakhazam I find that I can solo these guys as a lvl 60 druid without taking a single hit. It's pretty simple, actually. Two spells: Hibernate and Starfire. Get close enough to cast Hibernate on him. Back up until you're at the maximum range for Starfire. Cast Starfire. Immediately cast Hibernate again. Back up to cast Starfire.
Repeat until he's dead. Stick to those two spells only. Make sure you don't cast any DoT spells accidentally, or the ticks will interrupt Hibernate. It may be a cheap trick, but it works! Oh, and watch out for people coming up to "help" you. Make sure you ask them not to before they interrupt things. I've had nasty experiences where someone started wailing on it and interrupted Hibernate. They continued hitting it, so I couldn't cast Hibernate again. Since I had aggro, it came after me, smacked me around, and feared me into another mob.
